Metrocenter is situated adjacent to I-17, one of the busiest Arizona travel pathways that links to all other major freeways in metropolitan Phoenix. Its central location makes it a convenient shopping destination for local families, as well as tourists visiting the Valley of the Sun.
This two-story, enclosed super regional shopping center developed in 1973, contains approximately 1.3 million square feet and is located on a 107-acre site. When completed, Metrocenter took pride in retaining more merchants than any other mall in the nation and quickly became a must see Phoenix shopping experience. Today, Metrocenter is anchored by three department stores and a 12-screen theater and remains the second largest regional mall in the Phoenix metropolitan area. |
